The North Charleston POPS! provides music education and performance opportunities to underserved children in the North Charleston, SC area and beyond.
The PopsKids program provides after school music lessons, summer camps, performance opportunities, music educational programming and youth outreach programs for elementary and middle school students.
It is proven that learning through music helps young children develop language skills, increase comprehension, build confidence and bolster self-esteem. PopsKids brings exposure to culture and art into a community that otherwise may never experience this vital aspect of life. Programs like the PopsKids that provide music introduction and education have been shown to improve student achievement, life skills and mental health.
